"Plein Air on the McKenzie"
My son Dennis and I were painting on the McKenzie River, South Fork last year.  It was an overcast day,  no wind to speak of.  The river was just beautiful.  One can imagine native americans, pioneers, settlers, gold prospectors, fishermen, hikers over the years being at the same spot.  Maybe even an oil painter or two has set up an easel right here.  It did start to rain a little in the afternoon.  This painting is on display at
